Entry-level specialist/Assistant Account Manager

Applications are invited from aspiring professionals / graduates in maritime logistics or international transport management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist export/import department managers in processing documents and preparing data for sea freight.
  • Receiving and maintaining bookings from customers.
  • Entering information into databases, processing Excel spreadsheets.
  • Issuing sea freight documents.
  • Selection and despatch of export documents as requested by clients.

Requirements:

  • Preferably higher professional (technical, maritime) education.
  • Experience of work/practice in transport companies/ shipping lines will be an advantage.
  • Proficient user of office programmes (mainly MS Excel).
  • Initiative, desire to work and gain new knowledge and experience are valued in candidates.

Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Uploading invoices to the 1C program
  • Manual registration of some claims invoices in the 1C program
  • Registration of the UPD
  • Tracking the completeness and correctness of all invoices, acts of services rendered (UPD) for services rendered
  • Tracking the correctness of the distribution of payments by accounts, the correspondence of the received advances by accounts to the data of the balance sheet for the received advances, and arrears by accounts to the data of the balance sheet for arrears
  • Sending reconciliation reports to clients at the end of the quarter, maintaining a register of sent/signed reconciliation reports
  • Active work with corporate mail
  • Provision of documents at the request of clients and employees of the company, in consultation with the chief accountant
  • Collection of documents to confirm the 0% VAT rate at the end of the quarter
  • After passing the probation period, during vacations, and during the unplanned absence of accountants from other sites (layoffs, illnesses, and other unforeseen situations), take over part of the work transferred by the chief accountant from the accountants absent from the department.
  • Execution of other orders of the chief accountant, the general director and the financial manager in coordination with the chief accountant

    Requirements:
  • An experienced 1C and Excel user
  • High degree of responsibility and attentiveness, perseverance
  • Love of routine and monotonous work
  • Knowledge of the application of the VAT rate in international transportation (art. 164, subclause 2.1, clause 1) and experience in feasibility studies will be an advantage.
  • Diligence, desire to learn, ability to work in multitasking mode, proactivity, responsibility, attentiveness, high work speed
